It goes back way further than that. Through history it’s been the poor people who were darker because they had to work outside in the sun, hunting and growing things while the rich people stayed inside and didn’t get dark. We’re talking way B.C. here.

That’s where it comes from.

Okay, if this actually happened… Sherlock would definably figure out it was Light right away. Just because he’s outside of the situation…
